Overview

Wade Williams is a prick. He wasn't always, but years in the soul-shattering world of retail have made him bitter and cynical. Impeded by a lack of direction and infinite levels of apathy, Wade idles through his days avoiding waves of annoying customers, his pugnacious boss, and any kind of work in general.

A managementopportunity turns into an internal struggle of career wants and needs, and a training conference turns into a weekend of reckless partying. Add a gauntlet of women he doesn't understand, a developing drinking problem, and apotential mental breakdown, and Wade is on a path that could end in the destruction of both his professional and personal life.

This was so bad i quit reading when i got to pg 100 . I worked in retail if empoyees were like this guy they would have been gone before one week. Book was not even funny. I must admit though i have seen jerks like this working in some of the big box superstores

This book cracked me up!! I work in customer service for a college but I could relate to the stupidity factor of people. There was one part of the book that I read to my co-workers and boss. A great read on a stressful day.

Any of you currently or formerly working in retail will relate to Wade's woes of customer service Hell. This is a quick funny read, though some of it is a little over the top. Any retail veterans will recognize the customers from Hell featured in this book.

Perfect for those retail emoloyees and the douche customers we all hate. It's an easy read and doesn't require dedicated time. Funny for the road.

Entertaining but far fetched. Having worked retail most of my life, I could find it offensive if I took it seriously, which I did not. And really, no clerk I've ever known has got that much "strange"! LOL
