Meet the Author

Ross Hostetter was born in 1954 and raised in a small agricultural community in the American Midwest. He worked for 25 years as a distinguished attorney, mediator, corporate trainer and consultant before retiring to begin a career as a spiritual innovator and visionary novelist.
As a young man, Ross took 26 trips into the wilderness of the Canadian Shield, the rugged north country which is the earth of this book. During one summer in the wilderness, he had a remarkable encounter with a teacher that led to a profound awakening.
Ross and his wife Mary have been together for more than 25 years, and live in Boulder Colorado with their three children and a little white dog named Tinker Bell.
