great if you have memorized the lines of the Dragon but focuses mainly on the idea behind the opening

This book offers two great benefits. The first is that it doesn't walk you through long, boring games with endless variations and commentary. The second benefit is that the book teaches the general principles of the Sicillian Dragon in a clear, well-thought pattern. The two sections on strategies for black and strategies for white were especially helpful. This is an easy-to-use reference book that is well-designed graphically that allows you quickly to look up passages. Definitely the best introductory book on the Dragon that I have read.
