Meet the Author

Shannon Higgins is originally from sunny Southern California and now lives on the East Coast amid the mosquitoes and humidity. She finds her inspiration from musical geniuses like Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and Carole King, as well as from fellow authors who write books that she just can't bear to put down. When she is not lost in her own little world of fiction and poetry, Shannon fills her time teaching and being a nanny for two brilliantly kooky little girls that always keep her on her toes.

    Very highly recommended!! Excellent!!!

This is a great book!! Very entertaining. I could hardly wait to read what happened next. The characters are so realistic, I feel like I know them! I'm glad to see this is a series - I hope the next book is available soon! If you enjoy reading books by Robin Jones Gunn and Melody Carlson, you will love this book!

    THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!!

I love this book! The story is wonderful and the characters are so real. I love them all, but the funny aunt Peggy is my favorite! This book would appeal to all ages from early teens to late 90's! The pop culture and song references from the 1980's are perfect. So I should say this book is totally awesome!

You won't be able to put it down!!

Reading this book about Willow and her friends took me back to days on the beach with friends. There are so many interesting characters and you feel you know them. This young author has real talent and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

    Thoroughly Entertaining!

This young author has a great talent for bringing her characters to life! I got so wrapped up in the the story, I continually found myself either laughing or crying as I read each chapter. The author did a fantastic job with research for the time period, as well. I am anxiously looking forward to reading more books in the Willow Ryan Series.
