    Dear Kevin6X

    You said:
"Another thing I will say that I didn't like, is how the characters tell us of a thought, and then repeats the same info in their dialogue."

I write it the way a person would act in real life...they would THINK a thought, and then REPEAT it. The characters speaking to one another cannot hear the other one's thought and so forth. They do what we all do; which is, think it...say it. May sound silly, but there are lots of things in the book that one might find, "strange," such as nicknames mentioned in DIALOGUE, while the real name is mentioned in narration. Never vice-versa, nor same name used in both, narration and dialogue. It's simply my writing style. :-) This is why I've included my email address. I love for readers to email me with any questions or concerns. Ever read a book that leaves you asking so many questions? My email address is FOR those questions, because I love to engage readers and fans. I don't mind explaining WHY I did it this way or that way, etc. Anyhow, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. By the way...the sequel, 'Unfinished Business' is out. I hope you get a copy.

    Thanks for your support!
    Joy

    I Also Recommend:

    Very Exciting Read!

The book began in a corny fashion, with each of the main characters introducing themselves in the same exact manner, giving their dates of birth. Once my girlfriend and I got past that (as we read to each other), the story was a great read! We loved CeCe and Marco most of all! I was curious to see how the author would keep our attention throughout such a large book of 548 pages. Joy Evans-Smith did a fabulous job! Some nights while I was reading, I did not want to stop! The story got better as it progressed! The death of one character really hurt our feelings (I won't spoil it for those that don't know). I'm proud of Joy Evans-Smith for pulling this fiction story off so well. Another thing I will say that I didn't like, is how the characters tell us of a thought, and then repeats the same info in their dialogue. However, that didn't slow my pace down; I was hungry for more all the same. The author can write another book, strictly on the lives of Cynthia and Marco, and I'd be all over it!
