    A Must Have

This book is a must have for anyone thinking about getting security clearance or, more importantly, someone just about to start the process. The reference material is amazing. It will be the best $20 you spend on trying to get the ever valuable security clearance. This is a book that can help you get a position that has unlimited job security-how can you not buy the book? The author is not some guy who researched the material and put it in a book- he is a lifelong investigator who provides valuable insight into one of the greatest impediments to getting a job in the intelligence community.

    The Best How To . . .

Having recently had the pleasure of reading Bill's book, I feel compelled to post these thoughts. If you are about to be placed into consideration for a security clearance read and heed Bill's words, you will save yourself time and grief while going through the process. Bill stresses the 3 commandments for obtaining your security clearance. 1) Never lie, on the paperwork, to your employer or to the investigator. 2) Do not vex the investigator and make your investigation difficult to complete. 3) Buy this book and keep it handy during each phase of your investigative process. If you follow the suggestions from this book, you will be pleasantly surprised how simply the process moves. And I suggest that you suggest to your employer that they keep a copy handy for applicants to read when preparing their paperwork. Jay Ketner, Retired Investigator
