Overview

Clint makes his living on the frontier, panning for gold. He likes the work - it's solitary, keeps him from trouble, and presents little distraction beyond occasional trips to the local town for supplies and female entertainment. He's betting big on his parcel of land, hoping to retire to the fabled San Francisco when he strikes the mother lode.

When widowed and desperate Sadie comes unexpectedly into his life, Clint must make a tough decision whether to sacrifice his chosen way of life for an even bigger gamble than panning for gold.

WARNING: This 4000+ historical erotic short story contains graphic consensual sex on the wild frontier during the gold rush, where dreams were made and crushed every day and life was cheap.

EXCERPT:

They had finished up the work for the day and had talked briefly about how they were going to repair her wagon, but it was strange to Clint that neither one of them were in a particular hurry to fix the old wreck. Was it him or were they enjoying each other’s company? He shook his head, but then wondered. He headed up the trail to the cabin and Sadie told him that she was going to clean up a bit in the river.

Clint didn’t think anything of that and began packing up some of the tools and the gold they had found that day. He decided he would give her a percentage of it to use towards fixing her wagon and she was thrilled that he would let her work to compensate him for her stay. The wagon, however, continued to sit broken on the side of the trail.

Clint was just about done packing and turned around just in time to see Sadie removing the rest of her clothing. She stood naked on the bank of the river looking into the setting sun, enjoying the warmth on her body. His jaw dropped open as he watched her slowly walk into the water washing her face and then moving her hands down over her curves. He knew he should look away but he did not. She was singing some kind of song, he wasn’t sure which one, but the sound of her voice put the birds to shame. He sat down in the grass, listening and watching and he knew right away that he was falling in love with her.
When she was done she climbed out of the river, her skin shining in the sun and she lounged on the big rock drying off, completely naked. Clint pretended he didn’t see her and walked over wondering how she might react. When he got there she began talking to him like everything was just fine. He figured he had better answer her, and he did, but his voice broke. She was smirking.

“Did she want me to see her?” he wondered. His cock was hard in his pants and he walked down to the water, removed his own shirt and washed himself as well, He didn’t strip naked for fear that she would see how hard he was. He jumped into the cold water and that took care of the problem, at least for the time being.
She looked up at him and smiled as he washed the dirt and sweat of the day off of himself. She sat up and he saw her perfect breasts, her long legs stretched out and crossed in front of her. She was not a shy girl by any means and she intended to watch Clint wash himself. He was comfortable with that and gave her a bit of a show.

When he was done he was hard again from watching her watch him and he threw caution to the wind. He rose from the river and walked over to her, his cock pressing hard up against his shorts. He sat on the rock next to her and leaned over to kiss her lips as if they had none each other for years.
