One fateful night, Toni Langston seduces her best friend, the guy she's been in love with forever. Two problems-he doesn't remember a thing that happened and now she's pregnant. "You've been reading my pregnancy book again," she said with a laugh. But she found it endearing he had devoted so much time to reading about something that affected her.
She reached a hand up and placed it on his chest. "Thank you," she whispered.
"For what?" he asked, confusion clouding his eyes.
"For caring about me," she said softly.
Not taking the time to ponder whether this was the appropriate moment, she smoothed her hand up over his shoulder and over the back of his neck. Pulling him down at the same time she raised her lips, she pressed her mouth to his.
He stiffened in surprise, but she moved her lips softly over his, seeking, almost pleading with him to respond. His mouth opened, and he took control of the kiss. His hand slid up to her neck holding her against him as his tongue darted forth.
She moaned softly, twining her fingers in his hair pulling him even closer. Heaven had nothing on Simon. His kiss was possessive, strong, everything she'd dreamed about since their first night together. Only now he knew what he was doing.
A giddy thrill shot through her body as the kiss went on, his hot breath on her face only fanning the out of control flames.
Then he jerked away leaving her struggling to catch her breath. His eyes were bright with ... regret? Shock? He rocked back on his heels and ran a hand through his hair, then swore.
This wasn't the reaction she'd envisioned.
She struggled to sit up, wrapping her arms around her chest in a protective measure. Then she waited with dread for him to speak.
"Jesus, Toni. I'm sorry. Christ, are you okay?"
She nodded, too numb to speak. He was apologizing. Humiliation edged every bit of the euphoria that had swept over her just seconds ago. Slow heat spread up her neck and over her cheeks. "I'm fine," she finally murmured.
Not saying anything further, she rose, wrapping her dignity around her like a tattered blanket then walked through the kitchen toward her room.
"Toni, wait," he called.
Ignoring his plea, she quietly closed the door behind her and locked it. If she didn't get out of there soon, she was going to lose all semblance of self control.
The tears came before she got to her bed. She knew it was a long shot, but hope springs eternal. Or it did. Now she was going to have to face the music. She was pregnant and alone. Simon didn't see her as anything more than a kid sister. The sooner she came to terms with that the sooner she could get on with her future. Single motherhood.
Her doorknob jiggled then a soft knock sounded. "Toni? Toni, open the door please. We need to talk. God, I'm sorry. I had no right to do that."
She buried her head further into her pillow and shut out the sound of his pleading. After a few minutes, she could hear him walk away.
She rolled onto her side and gripped the pillow against her chest. What the hell was she going to do? She couldn't face him now. Once again, she'd screwed up royally. And this time she'd probably ruined their friendship as well.

Awesome book, but keep the tissues handy. I wish there had been another story about aj and mike. Loved it

Oh, and let's not forget, they're best friends and he just so happen to call her by his ex-girlfriend name to boot!
Toni has a major dilemma, does she keep it all to herself until its utmost necessary or come clean with Simon in the beginning?
Well there's only way to discover the conclusion to the mystery is by reading it yourself.
Yet there's one tidbit I'll divulge, you will NOT be disappointed, because Ms. Banks can definitely deliver a GRUELING HEARTFUL ROMANCE, WITH NOTHING SHORT OF SEXUAL HEAT that will bring you to your KNEES!
Every time I turned the page, I was on the EDGE OF MY SEAT with EXCITEMENT. I've CRIED, LAUGHED, and found my own GRATIFICATION within the pages of this SPECTACULAR novel.

Loved the story. Really hope she has a book about AJ.
I couldnt put this book down! I am such a huge Maya Banks fan! Her writing sucks you in to the story from the first page. Please tell me there will be another book that tells AJ story.

Loved the book. Great characters that made you want to be a part of their 'family'. I just wish it would have wrapped up the story. It kinda just ended. Left me wanting to know more!

I've read many books by Maya Banks and what struck me about "Seducing Simon" was the underlying sweetness of the characters and the humor of the pursuit of the title character. The sexual content is less explicit and more understated than that in other Banks' novels. Despite the misleading and, frankly, embarrassing cover, the novel is a a pleasant read. Light and entertaining.

This was a nice, quick, satisfying read. I'm not sure if the editor gave up half way through the story, though, because that's when all the typos really picked up. It gets distracting when you're trying to figure out what a sentance is supposed to say every couple of pages.

Loved this book, loved the romance and love. There was a little sexy flame but not to much it didnt over power the book. I read it in two days!

This is a wonderful story and very well written I was not ready
for it to end and I would love to have AJ and Mike have their own
stories.

I just finished this book and it's the best I've read in a long while. Absolutely wonderful love story! I highly recommend it.

I love Maya Banks, and this story didn't disappoint! Cute love story, that ends with you wanting more...I guess that is why I love reading series...

I really liked the characters, especially A.J. His lines were always funny. I wish she would make another story concentrating on him. But, Simon I thought was adorable. Toni annoyed me a little bit, but she was just so in love with Simon it kind of broke your heart.

The whole time I was reading it I felt the emotions from both sides and a few times I found that I had a few tears in my eyes. This is a keeper on my bookshelf.

I love just one of the guys type of girls since I am one. Loved the book, very entertaining. Read it in one sitting.

The main character is a bit whiny but considering her situation I'd say she is very strong. You will come to love the two main characters aswell as the people around them. When I picked this book up I couldn't put it down from beggining to end. It grabbed and held my attention when not many books can.I give it two thumbs up.
