Dominic Chekovsky's life is out of control. American women go crazy around him. They invade his personal space, leave their husbands for him, and make his life hell. Except, Diana. She's the one woman who always turns him down, no matter how many times he asks her out on a date. Now he's desperate. He needs Diana's help to figure out why she's the only female immune to his charm, so he can continue to play hockey in the United States. Maybe when Diana finally allows herself to say yes to having sex with him, he'll be over his wild fascination with the one woman who always tells him no.

Warning: Sexy Russian accent, big ego, and thick, hard thighs on ice. Go Sharks!

Seductively is Book two in the Playing for Hearts in a HEA serie

Seductively is Book two in the Playing for Hearts in a HEA series. I was delighted to get an ARC of this book. I adored book one and couldn’t wait to learn more about the characters I was introduced to in Wildly. This is Dominic and Diana’s story. Dominic is a hockey player who literally has women throwing themselves at him. And Diana seems to be the one woman who can resist him. They make a business arrangement of sorts to try and get women to back off and Dominic can concentrate on his game. The money Dominic is willing to pay for Diana’s help will go a long way to help finance her dream which is to own a bed and breakfast. As they soon learn best made plans never go quite the way they are supposed to. I liked this book just as much as the first one and I can’t wait to get my hands on book 3. This is a stand-alone book, so it is ok if you haven’t read Wildly first. Kayn does a great job of giving you subtle updates on other characters and
hints to the previous book without making you feel like you missed something or that she is rehashing book one, this is a major plus for me. I find it frustrating when the author retells the previous story.

In Seductively: Playing for Hearts Book 2 by Debra Kayn, Diana S

In Seductively: Playing for Hearts Book 2 by Debra Kayn, Diana Spenner has set her sights on owning the old Ferriday House and making it into her own bed and breakfast. She is so close to her goal but she needs to save a little more money so her loan gets approved. She will need to a lot of renovations but she knows that she can make a success of it. But she cannot allow any distractions to take her away from her goals, and Dominic Chekovsky is definitely a huge distraction.

Dominic Chekovsky is the captain of the Sharks hockey team, he has worked hard to get to where he is and to bring honor and pride to his parents back in Russia. But since he was part of a charity and met Diana, he has not been able to get her out his mind. Especially since she is the only female that ignores him and turns him down each and every time while all other women chase him everywhere he is at and won’t leave him alone.

Now Dominic has come up with the perfect plan, he will hire Diana to help him with his problem. He will pay her five hundred thousand for her to pretend to be his girlfriend for the next two weeks. But she must go live with him and be with him at all times. Maybe that way he can convince her to go out with him for real or find out how she can be so immune to him.

Living in close quarters will not be easy for either one. Dominic cannot help the attraction he feels towards Diana but first he must woo her into accepting him. While Diana will have to fight even harder to keep her distance from Dominic, something that she was only able to accomplish before by keeping her distance from him and pretending she was not interested.

Getting to know each other better while living together will help them understand who the other really is on the inside and in private. For Diana is getting to know a completely different person than the one everyone knows. But unless they risk their hearts and tell each other what they feel, they may just end up with a broken heart, a broken career and broken dreams.

This is a sweet, fun and very entertaining read. Diana will make you laugh with her way of being and the things she says, while Dominic will make you sigh and wish you met him in real life. Who doesn’t want to meet a guy that no woman can resist, and I mean NO woman. Well you know this irresistible man is about to walk into a wall of a woman and now he will have to work to get her instead of what he is used to. Don’t miss Seductively by Debra Kayn, I promise you will like it.

    Review:

You will be seduced by this sweet, fun romance.

This is book 2 of the Playing for Hearts series, but you really don't need to read book 1 first; though I liked it and would recommend it.

Now, who wants a big, sexy Russian hockey player? This girl :) I could just hear his accent in my head while I was reading this. Of course, he does not want me...lol He falls for Diana, who doesn't want to want him. You know he must really like her if he lets her drive his Porsche...lol This story was fun and sweet. I liked that Dominic hires Diana to be his girl friend because of all the women chasing him and the company trying to steal his sweat and hair for a cologne and that is beginning to effect his hockey. In the end they cannot deny their attraction and fall hard for each other. That wreaks more havoc on his career, but gets rid of the women. which sends Diana back home to start her dream business. The end is just great with Dom's grand gesture to get Diana back.
