See Dick Deconstruct: Literotica for the Satirically Bent

Overview

High brow, low brow, no brow, unibrow: this book of smart and sexy smut by up-and-coming author Ian Philips has fifteen tales certain to arouse anyone who is queer in the head. Some of our favorites in this bestiary of "literary filth" include the fairy tale of the televangelist who meets his match in Hell, the parable of the gay moralist who finds the man of his dreams at a circuit party, the fable of the skater boy who's seduced by a Whitman-quoting bear, the bedtime story of the Black leatherdaddy with a ...

Editorial Reviews

Michelle Tea
Ian Philips is a very well-read, very blasphemous, dirty little piggy. This book will surely condemn him to hell.
author of Valencia
Richard Labonté
In this bountiful collection, Ian Philips proves himself a master of nasty. His work is nasty in word, nasty in deed, nasty in the most (en)grossing way possible. His varied-voice fictions, brimming with style and bubbling with wit, are lusty and lascivious, wackily intelligent and wildly erotic, sassy and messy and sexy, very sexy, a brash re-invention of the genre-porn as a prose art form.
editor of the Best Gay Erotica series

    Smart Raunchy Fun

Wow! I'd read some of Philips' stories in the past in different anthologies such as the Best Gay Erotica series so I knew what I might expect. I purchased his second collection, Satyriasis, first, and devoured it in days. Should have bought them at the same time! I ran out and got his first, See Dick Deconstruct, the same day I finished Satyriasis. Both of these collections rock! He's a fantastic storyteller, weaving amazing characters, locations, themes, and a glorious array of sexual appetites, into something far more than powerful than any other erotic writer I¿ve ever read. This is biting, smart satire, all wrapped up in tasty, raunchy fun. Get both collections!
