Definitely a business classic...though gets a bit unfocused at times

I've been disappointed in the past by books labeled as "Business Classics" ("Think and Grow Rich" comes to mind), but "See You At The Top" definitely deserves this moniker. Ziglar provides a realistic and sustainable framework on how to achieve success. His model of focusing on self-image, relationships, goals, attitude, work and desire (and how to improve each) allow you to focus on what is most important. His chapters on goal-setting are some of the best I've read on the topic. My only complaint is that he does lose a little focus during the chapters on forming habits, but he returns to his core message fast enough. For the first time in a long time I actually believe I can achieve success. I wish I would have read this 20 years ago - I would've been better off. One warning: The book relies heavily on religious imagery and principles. It's not over-the-top, but readers should be aware that it makes up a significant portion of the book. Either way, it's a definite must-read.

    Ziglar is Mr. Encouragement

Mr. Zig Ziglar is the greatest motivator I've ever known. Having had the privilege of knowing him personally I can tell you he will make you believe that you can fight the fires of hades with a water pistol and win.

    A Leaders Labor of Love

Hours of study and research are brought to fruition in this book 'See You At The Top' by Zig Zigler. Because of the content depth, I have spent hours reading to absorb the contents of a man who carries both concerned and conviction about lifes values. I want to learn from people who hit the knocks and then threw the ball over the fence to win, an overcomer. The Bible says by Paul the apostle, 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me'. Learning to reproduce victories through honorable hardwork, climbing those stairs brings desired results.

    MOTIVATING!!!!

PICK UP THIS BOOK. Zig is amazingly soft in the way that he tells deep and encouraging stories about successful people. His southern acsent is shown in his book with catchy phrases and penetrate deep into your mind. This is a must for anyone from a homeless person, to a top CEO.

    Fantastic

I am a former loan officer and now a soldier in the United States Army. I have found that the information found in this book is equally important in both fields. Furthermore, I believe that a book like this will benefit anyone who wants to understand people with more clarity or simply be a more exciting person. This book will also teach you how to get what you want without using any force that exceeds the words and body language you put forth. The whole key to reading this book is doing it with a motivation to improve yourself for the rest of your life. I strongly recommend this book to anyone in any walk of life, especially sales professionals. Zig Ziglar is truly the master.

Jed Clampet is Alive and Well

The See You At The Top Book was great but the tapes took a 180 degree turn for the worse. I hate to sound negative but Zig Ziglar sounds like a hillbilly. Southern accents don't fly with non-southern people and that's a fact. The content was great though. My recommendation is stick with the book.
