This book is really for those who want to be amature astronomers. Ferris introduces the reader to several amature astronomers and gives a first hand account of how they got into the wonderful field of astronomy. The book flows well and the reader can tell that Ferris had a good time in writing this book. This is NOT a text book. It is easy reading. I would recommend this book to the person that is at the cross roads of deciding whether he wants to persue the field of astronomy or finding something else. This is a fun book to read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
