Everyone wants to feel important.
The heroine in this story learned at age eighteen that she was one of eight people who held the responsibility of saving Humankind from a terrible Demon. Maybe Charlotte believed it for a time but, as often happens as we grow older, it all became nonsense to her. That is until she was forced to believe once more.
Although this story isn't long, it is well written. I found it easy to move with the flow of the story and the progression of the main characters' relationship. Charlotte and Creed seem like a very unlikely pairing, but fate doesn't care. The chemistry between the two will have you hot and bothered in no time.
There was only one draw back that I could even imagine might befall an unwary reader... and that would be not being able to get the other stories that go with this one. That's right folks, it's part of a series and I for one will be reading them all.
