Overview

***WARNING***

This novel contains explicit language, sex, drugs, abuse and sexual situations that some might find offensive.

Winter Belov was the sweet innocent one in her crime family, the dutiful daughter that never disappointed her father. One day, her father does the unspeakable. When he turns his back, Winter flees across the country, taking her life savings with her, determined never to enter that sort of lifestyle again.
No longer innocent, she now lives in Nevada. Lana is her best friend and the only family Winter has. Together, they are two of the best exotic dancers in the county. While working a shift, Pyro, Lana's long time crush, propositions Winter. He begs her to do a private gig at Breakneck. She accepts, with the condition that Lana dances with her.
When Winter's eyes lock with Braxxon Breaker's, the President of Breakneck, she realizes she is no longer free; she has been seized. He is everything she is running from but at the same time, everything she wants. Braxxon will not take no for an answer, and purposely disrupts Winter's life.
Rivals of Braxxon's club are vicious and they do something that will have him out for blood. Winter's and Braxxon's relationship is anything but a normal one. If they want to be together, crimes must be committed, friendships will be broken and people are going to die.
What happens when all that chaos mixes with Winter's father locating her? It will be a bloodshed when Winter and Braxxon seek revenge and take no prisoners.

Seize Me is the first book in the Breakneck series. I went back

Seize Me is the first book in the Breakneck series. I went back and forth on whether to rate this four or five stars. If I could, I would've rated it 4.5, but that's not an option. I was so intrigued by the premise and my love for Sons of Anarchy that I actually started reading this book despite the fact that I was in the middle of another book. I ended up finishing it that night, staying up 'til midnight to finish it because it was that good. It was intense and sucked me from the very beginning! It is very fast paced, but after reading a few books that dragged, lately, I was glad we didn't have to wait forever for stuff to happen.
I loved how blunt and explicit the hero was. Some might find him vulgar, but I thought it was sexy, and after all it is a fantasy--that's why we read stuff like this, right? I live a normal, average life--I read books for excitement. Braxxon was just sexy all around, and I was glad that we got to be in his head as well as the heroine's.
I liked the heroine, too, although, a few times I thought she lacked some maturity and too impulsive. However, she is only 22, so that's to be expected.
Now, the reasons I did not give it a full five stars.
    1. I didn't like when the hero called the heroine (or other females) the b-word. I'm not completely opposed to the word, but I feel it should be used only when someone is actually, you know, being a b-word--not when you're kicking them out of your room because someone you like better showed up.
    2. There was a little torture in the book and I could've done without, because it made the hero a little less attractive in my eyes. Thanks to being a hardcore SOA fan it wasn't much, though.
    3. **Spoiler Alert** I could've lived without reading such a detailed description of Winter getting raped. I understand why it had to happened for her character development--I guess--but if the author would've just told me about it after the fact, I would've been totally fine with finding out that way. **Spoiler ended.**
    4. There were a couple of incomplete sentences, which might have been because of the author or an program error. I didn't feel like I was missing anything really, though, by not getting the whole sentence.
    5. MY BIGGEST REASON FOR NOT GIVING IT FIVE STARS. This is probably going to sound weird, since it takes nothing away from the story, but my biggest complaint is the author's lack of comma use when addressing someone. ALWAYS use a comma when directly addressing someone/something, regardless of whether the direct address is at the beginning, middle, or end of the sentence. She did a good job after addressing someone,m but not before. Example: "She's good with me sugar," when it should be, "She's good with me, sugar." Or, "One Braxxon and I mean it," should be, "One, Braxxon, and I mean it."  If you've ever seen the Facebook post about how punctuation saves lives ("Let's eat Grandpa" vs "Let's eat, Grandpa") there is a reason why we're supposed to use commas. The reason this is my biggest complaint is because every time I would come across this, it would distract me. And the story is so freaking good, I didn't want to be distracted!
Overall, highly recommend this book!! Can't wait for the next one in the Breakneck series!!!

The fact that the author would rather spew vile in a review rather than be mature enough to contact the bookseller herself to correct the error is enough to stop me from ever purchasing any of her books.

I really enjoyed this book. I feel like it's a good cross betwee

I really enjoyed this book. I feel like it's a good cross between Kristin Ashley's Chaos MC and Madeline Sheehan's Hell's Horsemen MC. The only reason that I didn't give it all 5 stars is because there were a few editing errors and sometime the plot felt a little rushed. That being said, I loved the book and would recommend it.

Seize Me OMG I don¿t even know where to start on this one. I on

    Seize Me

OMG I don’t even know where to start on this one. I only picked it up on the off chance after seeing it being talked about on a social network site.

This book has to be one of my best buys so far!

This is a dark erotic biker book at its best! I managed to read this book in around 3 hours and I haven’t been able to pick up another book since. I have a serious book hangover!

Winter is the daughter of a prominent Russian mobster MC president, who has gone on the run from everything she was brought up in. She has lived through loss and kept going. Her strength of character through this book and the way she deals with the situations that she finds herself have you gripped in this book.

Braxxon is the MC president of the Breakneck MC Club and is all alpha biker male. Having women where ever and whenever.

I love the way these two are screwed up and their relationship is screwed up but they are screwed up together and they both accept this fact. I love how honest Crystal has made Braxxon, his emotions in parts of the book are palpable and you really do experience his feelings with him. It’s the same with Winter.

I found myself sat there reading with my fingers crossed for these two characters. I don’t think I’ve ever wished two fictional characters to have a HEA as much as I did these two.

I absolutely loved this book and was taken on a dark emotional ride that had me living the life of this fictional world.

I can’t wait for book #2 in the series. I’m off to see what else I can read of Crystal Spears.

    Bad

Cannot get behind a coke snorting, murdering, criminal as a hero and heroine. I get that not everyone in romance books are billionaires, but this was too far out there. Not worth the money.

I fckn LOVED this book! I waited for a while to purchase this book, because I didn't know anyone who had read it and thought it was good enough to buy. Then I found quite a few recommendations for this book on a reading blog that I follow, and decided to try it out. OH MY GOD! I was not disappointed! This book had my attention from the beginning to the end. I read this book in record time, and then immediately purchased the second book in this series. This book had it all! I will say that it is not for everyone, but it was right up my alley. I recommended it to all of my friends, who also purchased and read this book. I can't wait for the next book to come out!

The story was good, but it's clear the author needs a good editor. Inpatient is not a word. It's impatient. And she clearly doesn't understand the difference between 'to' and 'too', which drove this teacher nuts. Having said that, I'd still read books by this author again. Her story was good, and I think her knowledge of the English will grow.
My main problems with the story were the ending and Braxxon. At times, Brax seemed very immature. Doing something ( the bj), just to get Winter's attention. Alphamales don't do that. And the HEA with her Uncle seemed unrealistic. I'm sorry but that's not how the russian mob works. Just sayin'. But whatever, it was still hot at times.
