Meet the Author
Kristin Neff, Ph.D., is an associate professor in human development at the University of Texas at Austin. A pioneer who first established self-compassion as a field of study almost a decade ago, Dr. Neff gives lectures on self-compassion internationally and conducts workshops for those who want to learn more about developing self-compassion.

This book can become a blue print for how to honestly develop more compassion not only for yourself, but for the world around you. I love it. I am so glad that I found it.
Being kind to oneself is often very difficult. Many people do not even realize they are short of self compassion, believing that self criticism is required and a way of life. It's one thing to try to do your best, and quite another to never let yourself off the hook. If this resonates with you, read this. It is quite good.
