Those with the inner strength to read the linchpin 9th Chapter, Recipes for Life, will experience the sublime transformation to Winner-hood, all for only $3.99, or about what you’d pay for a kilo of spoiled rutabagas. Find out about Winning in the Future (the hedge fund manager’s Bible), and the cornerstone skill of Proactive Avoidance™. Meet the Author

Jackson Hogen's byline has appeared in nearly every major ski publication, trade or public, of the last 25 years. Trying to earn a living at the margins of the ski industry, in addition to keeping Hogen robustly undernourished, has sharpened his survival skills. Chief among these is his sense of humor, on full display here in his cherished role as the Pontiff of Powder (hence the "P" on the mitre). While the Pontiff's awesome powers are usually applied to the sick, particularly the well-insured, here he tackles the serious issues that dominate public discourse, such as bowel damage caused by goat meat recipes. I would reveal more, but then I would lose the mystery that lies at the heart of all religious power.
