    Absolutely love this book!

    I just received this book for Christmas and have already used it several times. The recipes are wonderful, and my husband couldn't even tell they were light! This was my first Sandra Lee cookbook, and now I'm searching for my next. She has me hooked!

    What a waste of money.

    I've tried three recipes in this book and they went from bad to worse. I'm not a stranger to light cooking and have tried many online recipes with which I've been pleased. The recipes in this book that I tried were Enchilada Soup (tastes a bit like it's been eaten before, if you know what I mean), Angel Hair with Creamy Rosa Sauce (while the flavor was okay, the thickness and texture of the sauce made it unappetizing...jarred pasta sauce on top of the angel hair would have been preferable) and the final recipe I tried was Spicy Turkey Meatballs in Tomato Sauce.

    It was completely inedible. I used the cinnamon and chili seasoning in the meatballs that the recipe called for even though this combination went against my better judgment as an experienced cook. I should have gone with my instincts. All you can taste in the meatballs is cinnamon with a hint of chili powder. They were absolutely disgusting. The next time I make Italian Turkey Meatballs, I'll use Italian spices...makes sense, right?

    I've never written a review of a book or product in my life. I was so utterly disappointed with these recipes and especially the revolting Turkey Meatball recipe that I was compelled to write this review.

    Maybe there are other recipes in this book that are better but I'll probably never know. After trying three, I'm not inclined to give it any more of my time, money or energy.
