Overview

Erica Alman is sick of her overprotective older brothers ruining her love life, especially after they chased away that amazing mystery man that she had danced with at the charity ball six months ago. With the help of her best friend, she signs up with the 1 Night Stand dating service. Her request is simple. She wants a dangerous, rough man to fake break-in to her hotel room at the Castillo resort and force her to have multiple orgasms. Oh, and she wants the man to be big, bald, and have a German accent, just like Jonas.

Using every ounce of his skill as an experienced Dom, Jonas hopes to win Erica over before the night ends. He can only hope that the pleasure he can bring her will make the beautiful woman look past his scarred and battered exterior to the man within who can give her sensations like no other.

Editorial Reviews

Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews - KC Lu
Sensation Play is the first book by Ann Mayburn for me, but is an installment of the 1Night Stand Series. I fully intend to read more 1Night Stand stories, I had no trouble reading this one as a standalone. This was a delightful quick read. If you are looking for something steamy to get you through a break, this is the book for you!!! I loved this story!
The Forbidden Bookshelf - Ms. Shelley
This was a very short but sweet tale of a Beauty (Erica) and a Beast (Jonas) in a contemporary setting. Jonas Becker is a retired cage fighter who, after meeting the sweet and kind Erica Alman at a party six months before, falls head over heels in lust. He spots her by accident one day and plans his siege, so to speak.

I have not read any other in this particular series but this short little story will make me resolve that oversight.

Meet the Author

Ann is Queen of the Castle to her wonderful husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she's been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened.

From a young age she's been fascinated by myths and fairytales, and the romance that often was the center of the story. As Ann grew older and her hormones kicked in, she discovered trashy romance novels. Great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as much detail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she's never looked back.

Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her 'sexy space' and has learned to type one handed while soothing a cranky baby.

Another great love match for the 1NS services. Erica met Jonas

Another great love match for the 1NS services. Erica met Jonas when he asked her to dance, however, before they could get to know each other, her brother interrupts their dance. Six months later, Jonas has been following Erica trying to find a way to meet her, when he overhears her discussing with a friend that she is going to use the 1NS services to have a one night stand with a dominant man, he quickly signs up.

Jonas is the perfect Dom to Erica’s submissiveness, he realizes this meeting is the just the first step to the rest of their lives. I loved how he worshipped her, how he tended to her and was aware of all her feelings. Jonas gave her the dominance she was waiting for … their scenes were awesomely hot and how she not melt when he whispers lovingly in another language!
