    Having Trouble...

I'm on chapter six, after one night, and I think that the book is very descriptive, and the characters intense. HOWEVER, I think it doesn't move QUITE fast enough for me...I want more to happen, to get to the climax sooner, not just dwell on one event for so long. Any tips to finishing this short, but seemly good novel?

    An Unseperate Peace

A Seperate Peace was the most boring and discouraging book I ever read. It was boring, had no plot, and was too short.

    a great book

I think this book was a great book on how teens should look at their best friend. Gene thought that he was in competition with finny but they weren't. I also watched the movie and the movie is just as good as the book. Everyone should go out and read this great book

A Seperate Peace...good in its own ways.

A seperate peace was a book of human nature...and it was a good book to the point where you dont find many books that tell that part of a human..hate,evil,death.i think teenagers would relate better that adults just for the fact it is a book about growing up and how life has to move on.it is a little slow at the beginning but it picks up towards the end.its o.k....but not the best book ive ever read.

    great

I thought A Seperate Peace was a great book. It was a little bit better than the sequal, Peace Breaks Out.

    A tremendous novel

A seperate peace, is a story of two teenagers who are best friends, Gene and Finny, Finny is an excellent athlete and Gene is a intellectual boy. This two boys start being best frieds and then, they expirience some trouble that makes them go through a very difficult pathway that ended with finny´s death. at the begging of the novel i found it boring but since finny fells from the tree which is the most important sceneof the novel, the story turns to be an excelent one. i found every page really exciting and I highly reccomend this book.

A Seperate Peace was only okay.

The book was a little slow, but really portrayed real life. It is told as a flashback that the main character, Gene, has when he is grown up. It centers around his relationship and guilt for his best friend Finny. It takes place during WWII which add something, but not enough to make it really good.

    A Seperate Peace

I think this book was only OK. The movie obviously made it more visual, while in the book you could tell what the characters were thinking. And I think Finny would have been a great friend, but Gene got a little paranoid about the whole thing.
