Meet the Author

Adam Blade is in his late twenties, and was born in Kent, England. His parents were both history teachers and amateur artists, and Adam grew up surrounded by his father's paintings of historic English battles which left a lifelong mark on his imagination. He was also fascinated by the ancient sword and shield that hung in his father's office. Adam’s father said they were a Blade family heirloom.

Sadly, Adam does not have his own Ice Dragon or Ghost Panther. But he really wishes he did!

It was good but it could use a different monster. It needs a different monter because you see sea serpents in movies. But Iike the book.

Wonderful series for 2nd grade boys!

My son is 8 and in the 2nd grade. He has really enjoyed the Beast Quest series this year. The stories are full of adventure and exciting for us to read aloud together. The cadence of the words are fast paced and have an exciting rhythm. A wonderful series for a young boy to fall in love with reading.

Best of the Beast Quest Books so far!

My son got interested in the "Beast Quest" books through a Scholastic Book Fair. After reading the first one we have gone through the first set of "Beast's" set out by Malvel. My son feels that the book that stands out most is "Sepron the Sea Serpent". Adam Blades suspenseful story lines brings in the reader perfect for my son's age.

    2nd Graders Love This Book!!!

This book is adventurous because of the great ideas the author did and the pictures in the book were creative. Almost at the end a man almost found out that they were on a quest to stop Sepron the Sea Serpent. I like the book because it is very exciting and adventurous.
