Meet the Author

Jessica Coulter Smith has lived in various places around the US, from Georgia to California. She currently resides in Tennessee. An author of adult romance and YA romances (under Jessie Colter), she began her writing career as a poet. Her first poem was published when she was 16, but that was just the start. Many published poems later, along with an Editor's Choice Award for "My World is Tumbling Down", she is quickly making a name for herself as a novelist.

When she isn't writing, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, reading, or going to the beach. She's especially fond of bookstores and Starbucks! Jessica loves to hear from her fans! You may email her at or visit her at her website:

"Smith's wild worlds are remarkable, realistic, and beckon to be explored--just like her heroes! She also paints excellent strong, defiant women, which I can't get enough of in any genre. I don't know where she gets her otherwoldly ideas but I hope they never run out." --Sara Jay
