The churches seemed happy with Dr. Bill, as he preferred to be called. They enjoyed his easily understood sermons and were extremely pleased to have a full-time minister even though he didn't follow through with some of his qualifications that were listed on his résumé.
Dr. Bill made a special request for time off and assured church officials that it wouldn't interfere with his Sunday services. He informed them that at times he would need to go back to Nebraska for counseling regarding a personal matter. They respected his privacy and didn't ask any questions.
There were several personal matters unbeknownst to the churches or his family that were ultimately revealed three years later. In this true story these secrets are brought to light after Dr. Bill finds his wife, Sharon, unconscious in their bathtub. She had overdosed on prescription drugs. Further information arises, and Dr. Bill is arrested for murdering his wife. He is now Serving Time.

I am about half way through the book and am captured. It is so good, I have a hard time putting it down. The details of the trial make it so interesting, I can't wait to read more. I am quite impressed with the writing and I am looking forward to future books from this author. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Boring at best. Didn't appear that the author did any research here other than transcripts. The picture choices did little to enhance what was lacking in the story itself. Wasn't as expected for a paperback with such a high price. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

The author has captured the story of a small town murder by a Presbyterian minister. I had a hard time laying the book down once I started reading. The title is very 'catchy'. Recommend it for a very good read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
