Solid introduction to social networking and taking advantage of today's technology

While some of the book is probably already dated, it provides a useful introduction to many of the most useful tools and resources on and through the web to job search, network, create a weblog, etc. It spends a good number of pages specifically on LinkedIn. This is a basic introduction and not designed as a step-by-step technical how-to (though it does provide enough information to get started on LinkedIn.) It's easy to read and provide a lot of good websites in the appendix to get the beginner started in using online technology to create one's presence on the web.
