Highly Recommend!! Heather is a FANTABULOUS writer!!

I actually just started this book today and haven't been able to put it down! It is fabulous! This is the third book of Heather's that I have read and I am NEVER disappointed! Heather knows how to instantly draw the reader into her stories and definitely keeps the reader hooked throughout the entire book.
I highly recommend all of Heather's books to anyone looking for a FANTABULOUS read!!

    Great read, with great characters!

I read this authors free book "Life, Love, and a Polar Bear Tattoo" and I liked it so much I bought all of her books. This one is especially funny and the characters are great. I loved reading about all her exes and past relationships, I could definitely relate to a few. This book is a must read!

    LOVED THIS BOOK!

I read the author's first book for free and really liked it, so I thought I would give this one a try. It was even better. It had quite a few funny moments.

Can't get enough of this author!

I started & finished this book in a single sitting (at 500+ pages, this wasn't a quick feat!) As a fan of the Bachelor t.v. show & it's cross with survivor, I found myself attached to characters and rooting for teams as if it were real! Great book, great escape, great journey. WTG again, Wardell!

Seven Exes are Eight Too Many by Heather Wardell is the tale of MC and her stint on a reality TV show. Madeline Cora Spencer, better known as MC, is a very private person, but when she is pushed to one side by a good friend’s wife because she is unattached, she decides to apply for the TV dating show “Find your Prince”. When she arrives, dressed up to the nines to meet her new prince, she finds things are very different. Instead, she is dropped on a desert island for 21 days – with seven of her exes! To make matters worse, ex number 8 is dropped on another island with seven of his exes. Battle commences as both teams fight to win the prize of a million dollars and the results – well, you’ll have to read it to find out.

Seven Exes are Eight Too Many by Heather Wardell is chick lit at its best. This was another of those books I read from cover to cover as each chapter ended leaving me having to read on. The story line is straight out of Castaway but the results are both hilarious and touching. Lots of home truths and soul searching are done on the island and, although you have a pretty good idea of where the story is going, it was still a great read. A good book for a lazy afternoon by the pool or on the beach, and I guarantee any reader will finish it in one hit. Excellent story, I hope there is more where this came from.

This book was great! I was on tether hooks until the end because you never knew what was going to happen next. The story flowed freely and was very captivating. It also reinforced my thoughts that I'd never voluntarily sign up for a reality show.

For those who enjoy Survivor, this is your book. The story line held my interest, but I missed the interconnection with the previous books.

Great read even for those who are not fans of reality TV

I've now read all of Heather Wardell's books: Planning to Live, Go Small or Go Home, and Life, Love and a Polar Bear Tatoo. Each of her books has been great in its own way. Seven Exes are Eight Too Many is about a woman looking for love who signs up for a reality show. She has dated twelve guys in sixteen years but still has feelings for one of the twelve.

MC (Madeline-Cora) thinks that she's going to be on a dating show to find new love, but instead ends up stranded on an island with seven of her exes. MC and her exes are competing for a million dollars against Kent and seven of his exes. Kent is the guy MC still regrets, and her feelings for him are renewed on the island. MC doesn't know what's real and what's part of the game, especially when Kent's ex-wife and Kent are showing signs of getting back together.

Seven Exes Are Eight Too Many is about a woman who never shows her true feelings to anyone who learns to finally open up and let someone in. She grows a lot throughout the book and the ending was perfect. I would recommend Heather Wardell's books to fans of romance and even fans of YA, since they are not too "adult" for teens.

    Just One Gripe:
I am no fan of reality shows, and the Survivor-like atmosphere was not my favorite setting. However, this did not deter the book from being impossible for me to put down. I had to finish this book in a day: I had to know how the book ended!

The Best Thing About This Book:
Wardell writes in a way that I feel everything her characters are feeling. I feel like I'm living in the book right along with them, and I love that. That feeling is why I love reading.

Another great book by Heather Wardell!

So far, this is my favorite book by this author...though they are all worth reading! Heather is so good at laying out her characters and has such wit and humorous dialogue for them. I always find myself laughing when I read one of her books. This book gives us the idea of what it would be like to "catch up" with our exes and discover things aren't necessarily how we saw them.

    More easy-read Wardell

A 'stand-alone' title - not related to what she calls her "Toronto Series." Like reality TV in novel form...so entertaining, but a bit cheesy...cute!

If you have an ex or two, this book is for you...

LOVED this book! I can't recommend it enough! Unlike another reviewer, I think it would make a GREAT reality show.

    Not my style

I have read a few of Wardell's books but this is the first one I didn't like. It was like watching a bad reality T.V. show.

Pretty good...I would recommend for the price.

This is a really unique plot! First novel I have read that reads like a reality tv show. I really liked some of it. Other parts were slow for me. The number of characters were a little confusing. I found myself getting the guys mixed up. I did not enjoy it as much as her Polar Bear Tatoo book but overall I would recommend it. Especially if you can get it for 99 cents.
