Meet the Author

Sophocles (c. 496 BC-406 BC) wrote more than 120 plays in a career spanning more than thirty years, although just seven complete plays have survived. Sophocles won numerous awards in his lifetime, usually besting his contemporaries Aeschylus and Euripides in competitions held during the religious festivals of the Lenaea and the Dionysia.

    Scrambled and incoherent in places

    Page numbers [page 84] are littered throughout text. Bizarre indentations and spacing also.

    Rip off

    This book does not give you all the plays. Its only 259 pages and I thought all the plays where in the book.Not worth my $1.07.Smh. I want my money back.
