I started this book at 6:30 am and thought, id just get in a few chapters before bed. Not humanly possible! At 9:45 i looked up at the clock and cussed because my kids would be up soon. 10:30 and i was done. 819 pages did i really just do that? My husband says i need to savor my books, i do all in one sitting. I have read everything dannika dark has written besides her novella, she is an absoutely amazing writer! I love her and she actually responds to her readers through fb, i have had a response personally so i know she does. Down to earth amazing woman all around!!!

I loved this book so much I could not put it down through the last half, I enjoyed Dannika Dark's Mageri series, and could not wait for this series. Now I cannot wait  for the next book.I loved every character in different ways and for different reasons, even if it was to love to hate them.Dannika Dark has become my favorite author and always leaves me wanting more.

Very sultry I love the way Dannika Dark can take you to the edge and bring you to the verge of exploding ecstasy and then carry on with the story til next scene. The story line is perfect. I cried several times reading this and could not put it down. I even thought about the characters in my sleep. Read this it is captivating, loyal friends, the sweetest kid sister, the most erotic man i have ever read about. And of course in the end you will get served the entire package with some exploding suprises.

Seven Years (Seven #1) by Dannika Dark 5 of 5 Stars Lexi Knight’s brother, Wes, died seven years ago in a tragic motorcycle accident.  Not only did she lose her brother back then, but she lost his best friend, Austin Cole.  He was like a member of the family and her childhood crush but after Wes’s death, he deserted them.   Austin Cole has secrets.  He’s a shifter and Wes demise wasn’t an accident.  Now on the seventh anniversary of Wes’s passing Austin is back, and he’s there to stay.   Dannika Dark did an incredible job with Seven Years the first book in the Seven series.  The flow of the book is perfect.  The characters are diverse and interesting.  The plot is fascinating and full of surprises. I was really happy to discover this is going to be a series.  I just did not get enough from one book. I want more.   Six Months  book 2 in the Seven Series cannot come fast enough. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

Seven Years by Dannika Dark My rating: 4 of 5 stars Seven Years is a marvelous start to a fascinating new series by Dannika Dark. Complex characters that exude sexual chemistry and charm highlight this new and exciting world of Dark's imagination. Intriguing pack dynamics with plenty of hot alpha wolves you'll want to sink your teeth into, I mean the pages. Seven is a provocative new series, I look forward to Dark's next venture into this pack's world.

This was a surprising fun easy read that immediately had me hooked. I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this book but I'm glad I did and can't wait for the next one in this series. This book has definitely made me want to read more of what this author had to offer.

I loved how this book captivated you from the beginning until the end! Lexi is strong, loving and still suffering from her brother's death. She also lost Austin, her brothers best friend and Lexi's secret crush. What happens when Austin returns to her life? What secrets are revealed? What danger to they face and will Austin and his brothers be able to protect Lexi, her mother and her sister. I loved the personalities of the brothers and I can't wait for their stories. This book is filled with new discoveries, secrets, betrayal, danger and love! Must read it now! Don't miss out!

The sample hooked me in and i bought the book. Overall plot was good. But too many direction changes that didnt flow or make sense. Not enough exposition of characters' thoughts and feelings to keep reader involved. Got whiplash from all the times heroine would say she loved one guy but wait, you sound lime a good guy to date, no wait lets go here instead. It probably appenin real life but doesnt make easy reading. Hard to stay invested in characters andstory.

Another great book by Dannika Dark I love the Mageri series and was a bit worried that because I am such a big fan, and because this series is written in the same world, that it would seem like a filler, or a poor relation (lol) to the Mageri cast.  I need not have worried, Ms Dark has delivered a brilliant start to another great series I can get lost in. One of Dannika Dark’s strongest points – apart from a great imagination and her awesome writing skills, is her ability to create characters we can relate to. All the characters portrayed have been incredibly well thought out – each and every one of them.  They all have their strong points and their weaknesses or flaws which make them come alive in a way that makes me care about what happens to them all. I loved the story, the characters, the world they live in and the promise of things to come.  I did not want it to end, but it ended on a solid note – and I am extremely happy about that.    This is a great book, I loved it.

I liked this book. It was a good story. But it could of been so much better if the author didnt ramble and have to tell you every detail of what a room looked like or exactly what they were eating throughout the whole book. Also i didnt like that the one and only sex scene at the very end. In my opinion their first time should of been when she went into heat. It would of made for a better read. I think im going to try the next book in this series. I hope its a bit better than this one.

Awesome read!!   I loved this book so much that I didn't want it to ever end! I read Dannika Dark's Mageri Series and love how she can spin a story. You feel the character's emotions as they experience them. Wonderful read!

A bit ridiculous with all that was going on. Overall, entertaining.

My favorite of the series so far. Good plotline, developed characters, good sex scenes. What got to me was the lack of editing/ proof reading. Lots of typos, some paragraphs could have been structured better, etc.

I simply couldn't put it down. I'm typically very picky on books that I read, but Seven Years captivated me from page one

Overall Rating: 4.25 Rockin’ ★★★★ While sugarplums danced in their heads…or was that while shifters, shifted in their heads? In this remarkable paranormal romance by the talented Dannika Dark, we meet two extraordinary characters, Lexi Knight and Austin Cole. Seven Years is the first book in the Seven Series and creates a world of shifters that is nothing like anything I have read before! It is filled with love, loyalty, warmth of family and of course the unknown! You will find yourself asking what will happen next. Life sometimes can be full of tough choices. Like, am I going to sell candy for the rest of my life? Like, can I forgive and forget that my best friend left when my family and I needed him the most? Now that he has decided to come back home after seven years, will I still feel the same about him? Will I be able to put behind the crush I had on him? Is that all my future holds? When Austin walks back into Lexi’s life, secrets are revealed that may destroy not only her but him as well. Things are the same but different when Cole returns home. His feelings for Lexi are still in turmoil, they have not changed. But he is a shifter and it is forbidden for his world to mix with hers. Not only that, but when he left he thought that she would be protected. Her family would be safe and taken care of; only that is not what he finds out happened. Can they find away? He is the Alpha of his pack and must follow the rules. Threats from the past resurface and threaten not only Lexi but her family as well. Cole has put them under his protection, but who will protect him? This is one shifter tale that you will not want to miss! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

** spoiler alert ** This was a pretty good book. I really liked Austin Cole!!! There were some fun twists too. The main character kind of irritated me, but other than that it was a good read. I wish the characters got together earlier in the book, that's my only other complaint. There was too much of them misreading and misunderstanding and intercommunicating, that when they finally got together, I was like finally! This could have happened at like 50% instead of 80%.
