customized hobby tote

I am so frustrated with this book. The project that I want to make does not have real directions included in the book. Why not include them? I wanted to make the cute little catch all pictured on the back cover. Bah! No real patterns to enlarge for the rest of the projects, just measurements.

    The cold wind picks up...

A storm is brewing. You can smell it in the air. Soon, a ferocious deluge will assault the dead city. You know you must find cover.
As you continue your search through this husk of a town, you discover something: a half-built guardtower. Though it is obviously under construction, it still stands, less unscathed than it's surroundings. What little was created of it was obviously well-made.
Upon closer inspection, you see around it's base a picnic blanket, and a dusty tome. The rotting food still upon the blanket shows that it was abandoned in a hurry. The book is unintelligible, written in a language no-one can understand.
Do not lose hope, Traveler: all is not lost. Though you may feel confused and upset by this horrific death hole, keep going. This place depends upon it.
Thunder rumbles overhead. You feel a light drizzle forming around you. Knowing that there is worse to come, you dash out of the city and onto a rugged path, in an attempt to find shelter.
