Ryan's first book is cute without being cloying. The 30 projects range from the usual plush toys and baby clothes to a table runner made from vintage tablecloths and a makeup bag made from a recycled terry-cloth towel. It's difficult to do cute for adults effectively, but Ryan's patterns, including embellished tank tops and cardigans, work surprisingly well. Teens and parents of young children will especially enjoy Ryan's creations; most are easy enough for beginners.

    Sew Darn Cute Really Is!

    Great little sewing project book!

    This is a great book! I really enjoyed flipping through the projects (haven't made any yet, but directions look easy to follow and photography is great). I'm selective about the sewing books I buy--this one is a keeper! Great for inspiration. Very sweet projects, but it's not just kids' stuff (even though the book's name might make you think that). Cool, hip stuff for adults too. Definitely recommend!
