This has by far been the best sewing book that I have purchased yet. There are several projects that are simple, and can be completed with in a few hours or less. The descriptions of projects are easy to follow and there are photos to go with almost every step, and a photo of the finished product. I would recommend this book to any one who likes to sew, wants to learn to sew or just want to make a few gifts! You cant beat this book for the amount of projects and at a fair price!

From the spiral binding, to the great illustrations and wonderful fabrics, this is an easy-to-use guide to making all kinds of great projects. The messenger bag pocket needs to be 6 inches, not 5 inches, to match the side pockets. Checked out from the library, loved it and got for Christmas. I love my sewing book! Great inspiration for getting started on projects. My messenger bag has a fleur-de-lis embroidered on the front and my monogram and looks awesome. Thank you Lexie.

easy to read, good pics, easy to use. And some great ideas... I liked many of the bags, not just a few. I would definitely buy this again.

This is a Christmas gift purchase for my daughter. I read the book from cover to cover to see if it would be easy for her to understand as she is a beginner. I have made 10 handbags via a pattern purchase and by far this book made making my last two handbags a breeze. I wish I had made this book my first purchase. I am very impressed!

I loved it!! It's not only great for the beginner but it also spawns creativity in yourself. I use it often for all the little tid bits it has in it. Lots of fun, a must have.

I really love this book! I've made a few items from it, and found the instructions to be accurate, unlike some sewing books I've used in the past. I like the logical, easy format used to walk you through each project, as well as the special helps and tips provided for certain tasks. I also like the spiral bound pages, that lay open flat so you don't have to prop the book open when your hands are busy sewing! Great all around in my opinion:)
