Overview

Even in a world filled with the living dead, sex exists.

A stripper hell-bent on survival faces off against the living dead in a no-holds barred dance of death.

A lone soldier, separated from his unit, finds that the ghosts of his past may very well be more dangerous than a hotel overrun with zombified furries.

A boy faces his inner demons, ready to do anything to be accepted by his peers.

A woman, captured by slavers, finds out there are worse horrors than the walking dead.

From the first day of the undead apocalypse to points far in the future, this book explores the roles sex and sexuality play in determining survival.
Sex . . . zombies. . .love.

The line between them is not as clear as you might think.

Let the infection begin.

I like the zombie genre. I enjoy reading the Zombie Survival Guide; I play zombie themed games; I watch zombie movies in their various iterations. That said, I found "Sex in the Time of Zombies" to be interesting, thought provoking, exciting, suspenseful, and at times, moving. The author does a great job providing a varied mix of scenarios, styles, and voices. (In fact, the voice and style is so varied between stories, that I was impressed that the collection was by one author as opposed to an edited compendium.) I enjoyed the transition of time throughout the stories and how we get glimpses of the societal change as time progresses. The transitions are very nuanced and conveyed through dialogue and atmosphere rather than starkly stated. One last thing... If you are concerned about the title, cover image, or content, I can tell you that this collection is not graphic or in your face. Rather, the author uses various aspects and degrees of sexuality as a theme which interweaves the stories together. It's really very well done. Enjoy... and stay alive!

This is a book filled with short stories, some were really good & some shouldn't have even been written. Some of the stories had some potential but Mr. Rose gets lost.

Needs better editing but the stories were good. They last story freaked me out. Unfortunately, everyone is on their own when authority is gone and you can't trust anyone.

Every story was imaginative and descriptive. Captured my attention from the first to last sentence! Highly reccommended!

I highly enjoyed this collection of stories. Good zombie fare. As others have stated, don't let the title fool you. This is not a book about sex with zombies. Its about sex in a world changed by zombies. Recommended for any undead fan.

I have to agree, it's a mixture of short stories, and it mixes Zombie Apocolypse survival well with the human nature...

Sex, zombies, free! Count me in. I picked it up thinking it would be good for a laugh, and at points it was. Turned out to be pretty damn good at points. Good old fashioned story telling. There were a few stories that drug on a bit too long, but when it was good it went by way too fast. For fans of zombie anything.

Despite editing and typos, some excellent short stories.

Although this book does have some sexual stories in it, for the most part I would say that a different title would better suit it. If you are into zombie novels and have read world war z or any other max brooks novels, then you will love this. It was always interesting and had some very suspensful stories.

A few spelling/grammar issues here and there, but pretty good overall. A great mix of zombie survival and the darker side of human sexuality as the two intertwine.
