Meet the Author

Zack Love graduated from Harvard College, where he studied mostly literature, psychology, philosophy, and film. After college, he moved to New York City and took a corporate consulting job that had absolutely nothing to do with his studies. The attacks of September 11, 2001 inspired him to write a novella titled "The Doorman," and heightened his interest in the Middle East. A decade later, that interest extended to the Syrian Civil war, which provided the backdrop for his latest work. In late 2013, Zack began releasing his unpublished works of fiction and he is now a full-time author. Zack has published comedy, psychological and philosophical fiction, and romance. He enjoys confining himself to one genre about as much as he likes trying to sum up his existence in one paragraph.

A hilarious tale of the misadventures of a group of male friends that had me rolling in the floor. The reason I only gave it 5 stars thought at first, I had a hard time following the story. It may have just been the time of year trying to read the book and everything going on. I definitely LOVE the SQ! I won't spoil it and explain, you'll just have to read this great comedy and find out for yourself. The crazy thoughts of the males definitely gave me a perspective of males that I did not have before. I would highly recommend!!

I can honestly say that I haven't read ANYTHING this funny in a long time if ever!! Zack Love is a genius its that simple! He has 5 well developed main characters that I think everyone will be able to relate to in some way shape or form, you will have a favourite in no time! I loved the story, I prefer a busy plot as I find it keeps me more engaged and this crazy chaotic book kept me not only engaged but riveted! Its laugh out loud funny and even though some people may find it offensive or crass, I think as long as you have a sense of humour then this will have you laughing for days! It is a true piece of comedic genius! I am very tempted to give copies of it to all the uptight people in my life for Christmas!! Its one of those books that just makes you go 'OMG that would make an EPIC movie!!' Its like a horny male version of Love Actually but on steroids! ;) And if you are anything like me then you will be looking around your group of friends wondering which one will end up with or has had that specific injury ;) I soooooo want more from these 5 friends!! I will be recommending this to anyone I come across who has even a slight sense of humour! Mr. Love be prepared because I want a sequel!! :D

While browsing for a comedy or light romance novel I was delighted to find myself in the presence of a masterfully written combination of the two. It was refreshing to see a male's point of view when it comes to dating and some accurately depicted struggles. Sex in the Title is a brilliant novel sure to make you laugh, cringe, and remain interested from cover to cover.

I Loved this book. I laughed a lot. I wonder if my husband would have the same reaction if he read this book. The author did a great job creating a male version of Sex and The City. If I saw these characters walking down the street I would definitely party with them. The characters are so different that they seem realistic. This is a great book to read anywhere, and at anytime. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review by the author, however all opinions are my own.

This was by far one of the funniest books I’ve ever read. I was literally cracking up the whole time. It’s an amazing book; I say this because of how much it had me grinning from ear to ear. When I started reading this story I had no idea what was in store for me. It was different and I loved that I got to follow each character not just one or two. The men in this story are very intriguing and you can’t help but grow to love each and every one of them and I hoped for happy endings for each of them. Evan, Heeb, “Lucky Charlie”, Narc, and Trevor were all so wonderful. I loved them. I couldn’t help it, even though they had the craziest views on dating and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at them a few times. There are a few parts in the story I thought I was going to die from laughing so hard. A book that can do that to you, keep you laughing and love the characters is an exceptional one. So if you need a great book to check out that will lift your spirits, have you laughing more than crying, and leave your brain working overtime to keep up with these wonderful characters then this is the book for you. A definite must read!

"I don't know the question, but sex is definitely the answer"- Woody Allen used to say - and clearly this resonates in Zack Love's title. But, contrary to the salacious introduction, this book isn' t just about sex.       Following the (mis)adventures of five ethnically diverse young men in their pursuit of sex, love and ultimately happiness, Sex in the Title is a piercing satire drawing inspiration from  love, friendship and the challenges of adulthood. The obstacles life throws our way and the coping mechanisms we develop, the gap between unrealistic youthful ambitions, the goals we set ourselves and the choices we ultimately make, the adult-sized dramas  no-one has prepared us for, but which we suddenly find ourselves confronted with are all, in and of themselves, a rich source of humour.       The story is not only witty and downright hilarious, but intricately  thought out  and the reader will be immersed in  its entertaining twists and turns from the very first pages.       Zach Love's debut singles him out as a talent to watch. Read his novel, there will be more to come!

3.25 stars-Sex in the City meets Entourage:  ABOUT THE BOOK:  Release Date October 2013 New York City, May 2000. The Internet bubble has burst, and Evan's boss fires him with an email. The next day, his girlfriend dumps him, also via email. Afraid to check any more emails, Evan desperately seeks a rebound romance but the catastrophes that ensue go from bad to hilariously worse. Fortunately, Evan meets someone whose legendary disasters with females eclipse even his own.  To reverse their fortunes, they recruit their friends into a group of five guys who take on Manhattan in pursuit of dates, sex, and adventure. With musings about life, relationships, and human psychology, this quintessential New York story about the search for happiness follows five men on their comical paths to trouble, self-discovery, and love. REVIEW:  SEX IN THE TITLE is a contemporary storyline about five twenty-something men searching for sex, love and meaning in their lives.   Zack Love combines the adventures of Sex in the City with the antics and exploits from Entourage resulting in a humorous and contemplative look into the minds of men on the prowl. Five men, each determined to find that special someone and finding friendship, along the way. Zack Love takes the reader on a ride through Manhattan's night life and city streets; hookers and bars; crazy cat ladies and wanna be porn stars.  We watch as one man finds his other half, while another finds himself and still, another discovers that love is truly blind.   SEX IN THE TITLE covers ten years in the life-1993 to 2003-and some of the premise references the popular songs and fads of the day.  From poignant and philosophical musings to trash speaking thugs and hookers, Zack Love covers the spectrum of colorful dialogue interspersed with meaningful meanderings from five guys who think they know what they want. And in the end, sometimes what you want isn't what you need. Presented as a comedic look at dating, sex and romance, there were moments that felt forced; where the attempts at being funny were painfully reminiscent of teenage boys and bathroom humor; while at other times, I would shake my head and smile at the situations and plot. But in the end, it is a story of friendship between five unlikely friends from different backgrounds and careers who all wanted something or someone to love. Copy supplied by the author
