Sex On The Internetby Jody Babydol Gibson
The sex industry is a multi billion dollar business likely because people, men in particular, have a need for variety. That has always been, and will always be the nature of the beast. Computers are now ubiquitous as everybody has one but- are sex and computers synonymous? Think about who you know that hasn't at some time ventured to sneak a peek at what's available online...
Once upon a time there was no Internet; people would meet either through introduction by friends or by a visit to a local bar or restaurant. Now, if you¿re not aware of online dating, you're considered 'out-of-the-loop. Dating by database is here to stay.

What exactly has made sex on computers a way of life is easiest expressed in one word: accessibility. But how do you know where to begin? And which web site offers what; which are legitimate; how does one begin to surf through the hundreds of sites that offer promises and how can you discern the difference?
Well, it's all in this book.

This book was an amazing source of information for this online junkie for one, Ms. Gibson's chapter on Child Predators was a real help to myself & my friends and really clued us in to this horrible trend. Clearly well researched. Her approach to all the web sites listed where sex is offered online was the best informational guide to what is really going on and her Acronym Dictionary was terrific! In addition I truly appreciated her sense of humor when describing 'decoding ads' and the chapter on 'Scams' was a real wake up call. A fast read and well done.
