Overview

Sex on the Rocks, Vodka Straight Up, an upbeat, diverse collection of fun, controversial poetry exploring sex, partying and the obligatory morning after. Penned by Lisa-Jane Lukies, a witty Australian woman with a flair for satire and humor, the often profane & prurient in your face humor dominant throughout this collection makes it highly entertaining for performance. A fun and brutally honest exploration of love, sex and social morals (or lack of) in the new millennium, this cutting edge writing takes a daring and often hilarious look at sex...but watch out, because while you're laughing Lisa-Jane will slap you in the face with a dose of reality -AIDS, abortion and the societal class system are just a few subjects which do not escape the spotlight. You will laugh, you will cry, you will experience a provocative, interesting, educating read, and who knows, you may even learn something new. Enjoy the ride.

Wow, I'm more confident after this read!

After reading Lisa-Jane Lukie's book of provocative poetry, I realized that I'm not the only one with these views and past experiences. Lisa-Jane's honesty and humility is so refreshing!
