For lack of better terminology, Candy Melvin is the biggest slut on the South side of town; her parents know it, the whole neighborhood knows it, the church congregation knows it, and every male at her job knows it as well. Candy has a huge appetite for sex and doesn’t see anything wrong in what’s she doing, until she has sex with a trainer at the gym who leaves her high and dry without a word immediately after their rendezvous in the shower. To make matters worse, her father, uncle, and two cousins hold a sexual intervention to get her to change her nasty ways. They set her up with males of their choosing hoping to find someone who’ll satisfy all of her sexual needs. Candy goes along with their plans and is totally unprepared for the barrage of freaky men who show up at her door.

    Love Story

The opening scenes of the book were hot and sexy, then it turned into a romance. If your looking for a romance this book is for you, I would have preferred more sex.

    Outrageous Family

I've read a few Nikki Shannen books and found the story lines interesting, but Sexual Intervention was sexy and funny. I've met many sluts in my lifetime and I didn't like any of them(probably because they targeted my boyfriends); if they had been like Candy, I probably would be more understanding to their nasty nature. Candy Melvin is a slut of the first order and she is NOT ashamed of who she is. When word gets back to her family about a ménage scene she had in her mother's church her family becomes outraged at her behavior.

Her father, uncle, and cousins come to her to discuss her actions and choice of lovers. They talk Candy into letting them send some nice men that she can date and they turn out to be a bunch of freaks. The first one is a little kinky guy who likes to dress up as a fox during sex, and he brought a panda costume for her to wear. The second suitor was a would be master who knows nothing about BDSM, but thinks he can do on the job training with Candy. The third guy that shows up is hung like a horse and looking for a woman who can handle his action.

Candy's mother lives on her another planet, some of the things she says and does will make you wonder why Candy doesn't move to another state. I enjoyed the short story it was just what I needed at the time.

    Funny and Sexy

I've read a few Nikki Shannen books and their full of sex, revenge, and some are just dark. This book was light and funny. Candy's mom kept me in stitches, she reminded me of my mom and her friends, she's always concerned about what every one else thinks. The book was short, but I really enjoyed the characters.
