    I Also Recommend:

    Could¿ve Been Better

I strongly recommend you read this series in order [Witchling, Changeling, Darkling, Dragon Wytch, Night Huntress, Demon Mistress, Never After (anthology), Bone Magic, Inked (anthology), Harvest Hunting, Blood Wyne, Hexed Anthology”ice shards”, Etched in Silver novella and Courting Darkness] prior to reading this installment.

I didn’t enjoy this installment as much as I thought I was going to and it took me far longer than I would’ve liked to finish this book. The story started off really slow. The main investigation was disorganized and filled with too many secondary character interactions.

This installment did not do Delilah any favors, she looked like a tag-along in her own book. Most of this book seem to be about everyone else but Delilah. Shade is a HUGE mystery; the author could’ve spent so much more time delving into his background and how his fate intertwined with Delilah’s. That alone could’ve made one heck of a story.

I rated this book 3-stars because the story was interesting. Albeit, the whole novel felt like a set-up for the next installment; basically a huge waste of time and felt like the sisters were running in circles chasing their tails.

I think Iris’s wedding should’ve been a novella on its own. Instead it was mixed into Delilah’s journey with the two parts colliding and feeling mashed together. The wedding took up most of the beginning portion of the book. I enjoyed Iris’s background adventure from the Hexed anthology and would’ve enjoyed a short story on her wedding just the same.

One thing I did like is that the men in Delilah’s household are fully domesticated and don’t mind pulling their weight at home. They also don’t mind “manning” the home front while the sisters go out and handle their business.

I recommend this book and series to fellow dark urban fantasy readers and will read the next book Shadow Rising due out 10/30/12.

Do you like strong characters that continue to grow and develop?

Do you like strong characters that continue to grow and develop? Not to mention kick butt fight scenes. Then this is the series for you! Yasmine Galenorn has a round robin series, where the POV is changed in each book to a different lead character. IE: Book 1: Camille, Book 2: Delilah, Book 3: Menolly, Book 4: Camille, etc. I find this method refreshing and you get to know the main characters even better since you are seeing things through their eyes. Each book is not the same plot, and the story continually progresses.

In Shaded Vision (book 11), Delilah is the lead character and she is personally my favorite. Her character continues to grow up and be a strong woman that was not really there in the beginning of the series. There were a few parts that I did not like, such as talk of hair balls and litter boxes that she is too lazy to clean. Some events that happen are Iris bachelorette party and wedding, a bombing, a family secret revealed, fight scenes and much more. I could not put this book down, it kept me entertained and wanting to read more. Now to wait until the next book is released.

Nothing disappointing with this installment with the Sisters of

Nothing disappointing with this installment with the Sisters of the Moon series. Like most of the other books in this series, it grabs hold of you and pulls you to the lives of the characters. These characters continue to change and grow in ways you wouldn't expect. But that is what makes this series good. The right mix of romance, action, interesting characters, magic, and a bit of mayhem, make for an unforgettable ride.

    Great...as usual!!

Ms. Galenorn continues a great series...although sometimes I think its time to end the series and move on to something new...I love the sisters and their never ending trials and their men. So as long as the stories stay good I'll keep being a loyal fan!!!!!
