    Shadeland

This book seemed to end to quickly and now I'm very excited to read the second book. I absolutely love how the author created a large variety of different species of Eidolons. Mosts books are just about vampire or just about werewolves. Some of the creatures this author made i have never heard or read of before. One of my favorites was the mermaid because her story of how she became a mermaid was tragic but beautiful. I also like how its impossible to guess correctly who the killer is. The only problem is at the end of the book Liv gets sick. I guessed why she got sick and I'm almost 100% sure i guessed right. Kind of sucks though because now i think i know whats going to happen in the second book.

    Surprisingly good

I was expecting another badly written cookie cutter type paranormal book. What i got instead was a strong girl ( not like so many other girls in these books who always do the "insta-love" thing ) Well written dialogue good characters with depth and a well developed plot. Over 730 pages, worth the time. Will be looking forward to the next in the series.
