Katie Greene's worst nightmare comes true when her mother dies, and she's devastated to learn that she will have to leave the only home she's ever known. Desperate to find where she belongs, she must decide if she has what it takes to start a new life across the ocean.

For Yuu Tomohiro, every day is a nightmare. He struggles to control his strange ability, and keeps everyone at a distance so they won't get hurt—even his girlfriend, Myu. At night, a shadow haunts his dreams, and a mysterious woman torments him with omens of death and destruction. But these haunting premonitions are only the beginning…

Don't miss the moment when Katie's and Tomohiro's worlds collide in Ink, book one of The Paper Gods series from Harlequin TEEN.

    Amaya

This novella was amazing. A bit depressing in the beginning but starts lighting up a little in the middle. There was a few typos though. This novella sort of reminds me of anime and manga's. And if your a big fan of anime, like me, you'll already know the japanesse phrases they use in this story. Anyways why don't you give it a try? And I gotta say I am looking forward to the full length novella of this which is on the 24 of June. :D Happy reading.

    more from this reviewer

    Awesome prequel

Getting a glimpse at the events leading up to Ink is fascinating. Getting to see it in both Katie's and Tomo's POVs even more so. I love when there's novellas or short stories to go along with a series, it makes the story's world feel that much fuller and this one did not disappoint.

    Interesting

    Worth Reading...
    Total Pages: 78...Story Pages: 67...Free e-short story
Not sure what genre to classify this one as because it was just too short to know. It was pretty interesting. I really liked the Japanese aspect allot (plot, characters, the fact that the author used some actual Japanese throughout the story, etc.). I liked it enough to want to read more. Plus, I want to know what happens when the main female character (the lone American girl in a Japanese school) meets the main male character (a tormented--by some sort of inner demons or curse--Japanese boy that is in school where the main female character is). Looking forward to reading more!

Mistfoot would like to be leader

Greetings my name is mistfoot. Im a grey shecat with yellow eyes. I would make a good leader because im on everyday. Im social and never ignore anyone. I believe playing with kits, training apprentices, hunting with warriors, talking with elders, and building the nursery for queens is what a clan needs to thrive. I LOVE to advertise and my clan always comes first. Lastly, some leaders slack off about ceremonies but a ceremony can be the proudest moment of a cat's life and i plan to make it special. I hope you consider me for leader.

    Streakstar

A silver tom with black streaks down his back and sides pads up to Shadowstar. "Excuse me," he says in a soft voice, "but I thought I should let you know there is another ShadowClan at bane. I am not implying you should change anything you have here; I simply thought you should know. That is all." With a flick of his tail, he turns and leaves.
