Good story..way too short

I really liked this book. In just a a little over 100 pages you get a feel for the characters. You get background and visualization. My only complaint....it could have been longer. I would have loved to have seen a little more between the characters. Since it was a short story the first sex scene happens pretty quickly. There is only 3 sex scenes in the story and both were tastefully done. There was no crude language and contrary to someone else's review, she does not have sex with him when he is in his beast form. Someone else said this was porn??? Not in the least! I have read books from well known authors that go into way more detail and use crude language to describe their sex scenes. I would recommend reading this story because its good and a nice twist on the B&B story line, and its free! What have you got to loose but about an hour of your time.

Not Impressed

I found the story line to be played out and not very original. It's merely an adult slightly altered version of Beauty and the Beast. Maybe because it is so short and the premise is so very common that story was so boring for me. Maybe if the story had been longer and therefore had elaborated more on the differences in plot to Beauty and the Beast and define the characters better then i would have found the story more appealing. Writing was done well just rather boring. Just my opinion though ;)

Enjoyable read.

This was my first encounter with this author and i enjoyed the story. It clearly states novella but it was written so well that you want more. Will check out other books by K. E. Rodgers.

Charming

Part cliche romance, part interesting. I made it to the end of this book with mixed feelings. I did enjoy it. If you are one who is tired of sifting through same-old same-old romance short stories, you'll be delightfully surprised by this one, which has richer descriptions then most and a paranormal element that keeps you guessing. But for those in search of an insightful and life changing novel, you might find better luck elsewhere. It's a sweet little fairytale just for lighthearted fun.

Erotic update of Beauty & the Beast

I read the whole thing, though I'm not sure I would have had it been longer. The writing would benefit from a good editor, especially one who understands homonyms. I was continually astounded by the authors knack for choosing the wrong spelling and even substituting "where" for "were."

The ending felt a little rushed & the introduction of humor to previously serious characters did not work for me. It felt awkward. Better to end with, "And they lived happily ever after. The end."

As a teenager I found this book very dull and boring with only about fifteen pages of plot and the rest sex scenes. Though they were as some may say "tastefully" done this is not the type of book I wanted to read. In my opinion I feel like this book is a lower form of an erotic adult book.

Rhain was blind . Sara was stuck because is was raining and her car broke down. They had to use candles or a flashlights because he was blind and he could see reflections in the dark. She knew how to play the piano. Rhain and Sara were having sex now in the book. He asked Sara if she loved him and she said yes, She had stayed at his house.
