Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

"The demons were flying nearer and nearer, lifting the cannons to their shoulders and taking aim. Apparently, they had never fought a dragon before. They were in for a shock." Readers too will be in for surprises, in their case much more pleasant, with the first volume of Margaret Weiss and Robert Krammes' new Dragon Brigade series launch. The known world in this festering new microcosm floats above a thick substance similar to Earth's oceans, making it accessible only by airship. An imaginative military fantasy about empires in deadly conflict.

From the Publisher
"Singer-songwriter and actor Kirby Heyborne makes the beautiful writing flow and the intriguing characters memorable." —-Library Journal Starred Audio Review
Library Journal
Longtime writer Weis (www.margaretweis.com) joins with video producer Krammes for this first book in a new fantasy series, "Dragon Brigade." Magic is intrinsic to the world of Aeronne, where continents float on a gaseous material known as The Breath. Majestic dragons are just some of the fantastic creatures found in this epic tale of adventure, secrets, schemes, and plots. The characters are detailed, from actions and motivations to wardrobe, and fully developed. Singer-songwriter and actor Kirby Heybourne makes the beautiful writing flow and the intriguing characters memorable. Of interest to Weis's fans as well as lovers of fantasy and adventure stories.—Denise A. Garofalo, Mount Saint Mary Coll. Lib., Newburgh, NY
