Meet the Author

I was born in England in 1978, the youngest of 3 girls. My whole family moved to Greece in 1983, where we still live. I have been writing poetry since I was 10. The poems in my collections span from my earliest poems up until my most recent work. I am the only one who has ever reviewed my work, so despite my best efforts to check it, errors may be present. I welcome all feedback.

This on the whole was good: Poetry is not required to rhyme. However, some of these poems come off as confessional, like a 14 year old girl writing in her diary. In the event the author is 14, I apologise. That does not mean what she wrote is bad, rather that it has potential. I write poetry too and it's far from easy and very hit or miss. I'd encourage her to keep going and dig deeper into her emotions. Also, I'd advise her to stop writing with the mindset of pleasing people. You do that and you sell yourself out and stray from your truth.
