The Sound track really caught the excitment of what Shakespearan England was like as female and male actors had to swap roles professionally and personally to survive in the theater circa 1600's.

The album helped the movie, a late entry prior to the Academy Award entries, garner some unique Golden Globe and AA award statues.

    Enjoy

    Emotion invoking music

I received this soundtrack as a gift 2 years ago and it is still my favorite cd. When I saw the movie, I was very moved by the beautiful music. The compositions on this cd are incredible and breathtaking. This is one I would recommend adding to your collection. It is well worth it!

    Intoxicatingly beautiful..

The first time I walked into the theater to watch this wonderful movie, I heard the first song 'The beginning of partnership', and it was a stunningly beautiful sound. It is amazing how they captured the intense love of Will and Viola, in the music of the movie. The music enfolds you in the uncontrollable love they have for each other. It is a must have.

    Shakespeare in Love is excellent!!

I bought this soundtrack after seeing the movie. I found the music to be very calming and relaxing. I was never interested in classical music, but I loved this soundtrack. So if you are not interested in classical music or haven't seen the movie this soundtrack is well worth buying.

The music is as inspiring as the movie

This soundtrack, like the movie, exposes emotions and feelings deep within every one of our hearts. Even if you haven't seen the movie, the music will touch you. If you haven't seen the movie, go see it!
