A great resource for anyone and everyone!!!!!!!!!

Excellent presentation of summaries, character descriptions, themes, motifs, symbols, etc. With Shakespeare, one resource just isn't enough and this is an excellent reference guide for anyone studying, performing, or seeing the Bard. Do yourself a favor and pick it up. You'll find information in here that you won't find other places.

    Poorly Inadequate

This guide lacks the necessary thoroughness required to adequately clarify the mind of the baffled reader. Shakespeare's works are just too in-depth.

    Excellent preparation and background

I bought this because I was going to some of Shakespeare plays. It is well organized and loaded with fearures such as a plot summary, explanation of characters and key themes. It does not include the text of the plays. It is an excellent companion to them.
