About the Author


Alistair Findlay is the author of Shale Voices (Luath Press, 1999), a social history of the shale oil communities of West Lothian, and Sex, Death and Football (also Luath Press, 2003), which was his first collection of poetry. He has an MPhil in Modern Poetry in English from Stirling University. He works as a Social Work manager in Livingston for West Lothian Council, and resides in Bathgate.
