Shaman King is the story of a young kid who meets a shaman in a graveyard and ends up becoming friends with him. This book, number 1, isn't so good, but once you get to book 5-7 you begin loving it. It is full of twists and turns and betrayals and friendships. I love it!!!!!!!

It was perfect for the first volume, it shows how Yoh (the main character) got his bodyguard/ghost Amidamaru and shows you a Shaman Fight, Yoh and Amidamaru VS. Ren and Bason.

I'll admit it now, I'm not a manga fan. But something about Shaman King catches me. Maybe the comical humor. Or just maybe its the high-paced action. Whatever it is, it's a great book! Must read!!!

In Shaman KIng, Yoh is very funny, but when the action starts he is ready for anything that comes at him. Great Manga with comedy and action!
