The Gotrek and Felix series was a decent read, but the books have just gotten better and better. A true rarity in fiction. Highly recommended.

All i can say is too bad for Gotrek! This book is even better than Elfslayer, which i thought was a superb book. This book cmbines all of fantasy's best elements from sorcery to beastmen to shapesifting this book has it. My favorite part of this book is the cliff hanger at the end when deranged Hans the Necromancer is revealed to have minipulated all of the good guys. I was not surprised that Gotrek didn't die though because there was no towering monster gripping him in his hands. I as shocked about what Gotrek told Felix, that he was released from his oath! i think Felix will continue to follow Gotrek till his or Gotrek's death.
