A super dooper little fantasy for the 9+!

An action packed children's novel set in a magical wood, Shamwood, where two space travellers (an alien and his robot dog) befriend an ancient wizard and decide to help him and his protected animals to fight a mysterious war against an evil king and a powerful sorceress.

    Great stuff!

A jolly good read.Very entertaining. This children's novel has plenty to offer: drama, humour, suspense, and bagfuls of action.... And you'd love the characters: a purple alien, a funny robot dog, a quaint wizard, an evil king, a powerful sorceress,a beautiful princess, a comical dwarf, a very stupid giant, and plenty of talking animals, including a vain little mouse by the name of Ricoodoo... I promise you you'd love this fantasy/science fiction mixture no matter what your age is,a mark of a good book.

10 out of 10 for entertainment value!

This fantasy for young people contains more ingredients than a witch's cauldron. What a brew: the result is absolutely magic!
