Meet the Author

John Chapman is a software developer and designer living in the Denver area who specializes in SharePoint and .NET. Having worked in the higher education and telecommunication industries, John is a Software Engineer for NewsGator Technologies working on the NewsGator Social Sites product. NewsGator Social Sites is the premier enterprise social software for Microsoft SharePoint.

Despite studying for and completing his undergraduate and Master's degrees in computer graphics, John began developing web applications while studying at and working for Arizona State University. During his time at Arizona State University, his development efforts became focused on SharePoint and .NET as he worked on numerous projects to enhance the business processes centered on content and document management.

While at Arizona State University, John was recruited by Cable ONE. His projects with Cable ONE included architecting, developing, and implementing SharePoint solutions for the corporate intranet and public-facing websites.
