Sharon Frances Mason Potter is only 26. But she must deal with problems that would overwhelm many an older and wiser woman. Recovering from an abusive marriage, she's now a divorced mom struggling to raise her two children. Sharon is sure that all she wants right now is a safe place to heal. Then a disturbing man enters her life. Kenneth, a Vietnam War veteran, makes it difficult for Sharon to deny her need for love and happiness. Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
At 26, Sharon Potter has already struggled along many of life's most difficult paths. Emerging from an abusive marital relationship, she now faces the world alone with her two small children. Struggling against feelings of unworthiness and loneliness, Sharon wonders if she will ever find love again. Her answer comes in the form of a Vietnam War veteran named Kenneth who, despite his own inner struggles with guilt and rage, sweeps Sharon off her feet. Coyle's (Door of Hope, Bethany, 1995) sure-handedness in handling the contours of the romance novel delivers a credible story of two people striving, with God's grace, to begin new lives full of hope and love. Highly recommended.
