This book has everything you could possibly need!! An amazing story line, a smart, sassy yet quirky heroine, a sexy alpha shifter hero, lots of action and a LOT of steam!!! I really enjoyed the secondary characters too. Great read and I highly recommend it!!!!

This book deserves all the stars in the sky, but since Barnes and Noble only allows 5, I guess it will have to do. First of all, people always say something was unbelieveable when they enjoy it, but in the case of this book, I am going to say it was so well written and entertaining that it was believeable. I could imagine this happening in real life. Some authors have a way of writing dialogue that makes you feel like you are witnessing the conversation in real life and this author has that talent. I really enjoyed the concept of this book. The mix of wolf and cat in Sophia was so intraditional that it sets this book apart from other werewolf novels. While the sex scenes came very quickly- which the author gets away with because they are not only having sex, but rather mating- I have no complaints about this book.

There was a lot I enjoyed from this story, with a few things that bothered me just a tad. First, this is book one in the series, but there were several times throughout particularly the first half of the book that I felt like I had missed a story and that was a little distracting. I also thought there were some unanswered questions in the end and that it happened a little too quickly; I think it could have benefited from an epilogue.
The world building was very good, giving relevant information without anything extraneous to overwhelm the reader. There are hints to more in that world which is cool, because it leaves the door open for future installments to go anywhere. There was really only one thing that stood out to me as a little implausible – the ability to scent the gender of an unborn child within the first couple weeks of pregnancy.
As for the characters, all were great. Julia is Sophia’s sister and mated to River, Chase’s brother. They were cute together, even if Julia was a little dramatic. I absolutely adored Chase and Sophia is fun, but I did feel that as smart as Sophia was, she should have been able to figure a couple things out prior to having to be told.
The love scenes are explicit and hot and do not lose intensity throughout the story, which is always nice. I’ve come to enjoy this author’s work and this one did not disappoint.
Sharp Change is an exciting story with compelling characters. If you’re looking for a very sexy romantic suspense, I definitely recommend it!

erotic and humorous
I was so excited to receive this book and after reading it I am even more excited to share my thoughts about it. For a novella, around 35000+ words, it had more impact and substance than some of the recent full-length novels I’ve read. This is my first books by this author, but I can’t wait to more by her.
Her scenes between Chase & Sophia are both erotic and humorous.
The publisher, Etopia Press, provided this e-book to me free of charge for the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments, and ratings are my own.

After reading several reviews and excerpts from Sharp Change, I couldn’t wait any longer and finally just grabbed it. I am so glad I did. The first chapter had me laughing so hard that my kids thought I was losing it. I love romance novels that have comedic relief. Let’s just say that Sophia is full of humor.
The story starts with Sophia finding the exact strand of DNA that makes a shifter a shifter. Her sister Julia was attacked by a rogue wolf and she wanted to give her options, even if her sister was mated. The laughs start right away with her “furry beast” and her FBA. I loved her. She is a strong and sassy heroine.
Chase is the Alpha of his pack. His brother is mated to Sophia’s sister Julia. He is extremely attracted to Julia, but thinks she can’t stand the sight of him. These two are the cutest couple and have the hottest time in the bedroom.
I really liked this story. The only thing I didn’t like is that it seemed like everything was rushed. I really wish the story was longer. I will definitely be reading the next book in this series and I hope it will be longer.
