Just when you think you have figured it out...you get thrown for a loop. Several times I thought I knew the who's and why's, but nope! The last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat and second guessing things. The first part of the book was a little slow and it got annoying on how dumb Scott was. Ok, how many times is he gonna plead to be taken back and doesn't fully grasp what he did was beyond forgiveable!! Anyways, I enjoyed the chemistry between Lindsay and Jake. Although, she was still technacially married when they made out in the kitchen...but could ya blame her, he sounded frickin hot!!! Ok, enough rambling. I did enjoy this story and recommened it if you like a little bit of romance, suspence and mystery.

Good read. This really remind you not to judge a book by its cover. It seems that Raptor is a really good man. I would read the other biker books.

I agree with the person who's review said this book is unbelievable, the author tried to squeeze to much into one story, without giving anything away, Lindsey and the kids are way to nonchalant about what happened to Scott as well as Darcy, instead of being devastated Lindsey not only has sex hours later but is cracking jokes. Jake's reaction to Lindsey's news toward the end is totally off the wall. It could have been such a good book..

I was looking forward to reading this, and was not disappointed. I could not put it down. I finished in a matter of hours. My only complaint is that it was too short.

I am giving this book 2 stars because the actual writing isn't bad. The story is too short, though, to have this many subplots - which aren't at all believable. I don't want to give anything away but if you decide to read this, ask yourself these questions afterwards: does it AT ALL make sense who the first victim is? Does it make sense for the second victim to be killed? The first two people killed aren't even mentiioned in the threat in the bedroom! And could the end be any more ridiculous? Why did the killer wait a year and specifically choose that day? Again, don't want to give anything away but IT MAKES NO SENSE! I don't care about the money I spent on this...wait, I do. More important than the money, though, I wish I could get the time I spent reading this back.
